Gear Patrol – The Ideal City Bike

Gear Patrol covers a little bit of everything  whether its gadgets, tools, or anything else new and desirable.  They just posted up a great article on “The Ideal City Bike“. The article breaks down the entire process from researching parts to final assembly. As with most builds there were the usual ups and downs but that’s what makes it such a fun experience. They started with a Raleigh Port Townsend and spec’d it with a NuVinci internally geared hub laced to a pair of EighthInch Julian’s. They also used our crankset, riser bar and stem to fill out the rest of the specs. I must say the bike turned out great. Be sure to check out the full article on Gear Patrol and see how it all came together.
