About Eighth-Inch

EighthInch is the fixed gear division of Wheel and Sprocket located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Wheel and Sprocket has been a family owned bicycle shop since 1973 with six retail locations! Our focus a few years back turned to selling reasonably priced fixed gear products online and in our retail stores. When this took off we began to see the need for our own line of components. We started with our Scrambler V1 chromoly frameset- selling out the initial run in a few short months. This was followed by our re-designed Scrambler V2, then our 42mm Julian wheelsets, and the rest is history! We are now able to offer a full line of fixed gear components at the best prices online!

We have also built this company by listening to our customers very carefully. Through our blog, twitter, facebook, and by sponsoring local events- we have been able to refine our products and stay closely involved in the fixed gear community.
