March is here, which means spring is just order viagra online around the corner. Time pull off your fenders, clean up your bike, and get out and enjoy the ride. Not much beats that first ride in the fresh spring air, except taking that ride on a fresh bike. To help get you one step closer to that new bike we are announcing the start of the EighthInch Conversion Hunt. The rules are simple, find an old beat up 10-speed in need of some work and post a picture of it on our Facebook page. At the end of the month we will choose our favorite frame/bike and give the lucky owner an EighthInch Essential Conversion Kit to help get it up and running just in time for Spring. Good luck and happy hunting!

*To be compatible with our conversion kit the bike needs 700c/27″ wheels and a 68mm bottom bracket.

Congrats to Michael W for winning our Taco’d Wheel Contest!

We had a lot of great entries for our Taco’d Wheel Contest but only one

person could win. Michael sent us a picture of his trashed wheel along with a great story that includes an Aerospoke hating senior citizen and a free ride in a police car without any jail time. A story like that is tough to beat which is why Michael just

earned himself a brand new handbuilt Julian or Bueller wheelset. Thanks to everyone who sent in their entries, there were

“This picture is way over exposed, on account of me just getting hit by a car and too dazed to set my camera properly. Some old lady on a cellphone at a stop sign literally made eye contact with me and then gunned it. It defies normal logic, so I assume she just was an aerospoke hater. I got to ride in the back of a cop car without going to jail though.”

EighthInch Wednesday Facebook Contest

Contest: Help Design Our Scrambler Frame Graphics – Win a Frame!

We are looking to completely re-design our Scrambler Fixed Gear Frame graphics!  Now it’s your chance to help us with the process. We’re going to begin a contest to re-design the Scrambler graphics and the winner will win a brand new Scrambler frameset in the size & color of their choice plus some honorable mentions on our blogs and maybe even in a COG magazine ad!

For you designers out there we are providing graphics & font templates to help get things going. These are all available in a .zip file HERE.

We are looking for graphic sets for both our black frames and our white frames, along with a head-badge design. Sky is the limit so show us what you got!

Haiku Contest

Thanks to everyone on BikeForums who entered our Haiku contest. It was pretty fun seeing what people came up with. Some were better than others, but we’ve read through them all and narrowed it down to our top 5 finalists. Now its up to you to decide who wins a pair of JULIAN rims and gets their Haiku put in an upcoming issue of Cog Magazine. We’ll be doing a pretty quick voting window and should have a winner announced on Friday.
