Registration is open for Salt Lake City’s Velo City Weekend. This huge event is being put on by the great folks at Velo City Bags and features two days
of cycling awesomeness. A Critical Mass ride kicks off the event on Friday followed by a Tall Bike Joust. Saturday has an alleycat, trick comp, and sprints along with free
food and music. The event will be held June 28-29, visit the Velo City Weekend site for more details.
This week we are bringing back our Deluxe Conversion Kits! Recently we sold through a lot of parts that made these kits possible, but with high demand we were able to come up with some combinations that will keep it alive until more parts show up. The Amelia wheels we
usually spec are sold out but we are now offering all of our machined front/non-machined rear color options. That means you can get a kit with white components and your choice of white, green, orange, purple, red, or blue wheels. We also have a gold kit paired with gold wheels. Funbikes put a great video together from their third annual Garage Race. What can be more fun than racing your
way down a parking garage on slick cement. It’s great to see events like this bringing bigger crowds every year. Seeing
a handful of Scambler’s there is pretty cool too. Visit Funbikes website to see all they have to offer.
Cycling Tips just announced their list for “10 of the Worlds Coolest Bike Shops“. Obviously there were a lot of shops to choose from but I was glad to see a few that stood out in my mind on the list. One of those shops was 718 Cyclery in Brooklyn. Joe and his team have been helping people fix their bikes or build up new ones for the past 5 years. With such a customer focused business model we’re happy to see Joe and the gang seeing so much success and notoriety. To learn more

It’s been a bit busy since we got back from the Wheel and Sprocket Expo Sale but I finally had time to post
some pictures from our final day at the event. The EighthInch Urban Yard was a huge success. Our bike builders
were busy all weekend and we watched dozens of custom bikes and conversion go out the door and hit the Milwaukee streets. Check out the photos below and see all of the photos from the weekend on our Flickr page.

Our good friend and EighthInch rider Krys Blakemore is taking some time off to travel through Europe. One year and three surgeries after her terrible
accident it’s nice to see Krys back on her
bike and traveling the world. We were stoked to hear the bike she would be taking was her EighthInch Scrambler. Be sure to follow @krysblakemore on Instagram as she her Scrambler see all that Europe has to offer.
We had another busy day at the Wheel and Sprocket Bike Expo Sale. More custom bikes and conversions went out
the door and we finally had a few winners in our Bike Polo Shootout. Cardboard Woadie was a
brick wall on Thursday, but Friday we had 5 people get it past him and take home a golden mallet. We will be

Kris has been posting tons of original content on Lockedcog the past few months. Even with his busy schedule was able to find some time to hop on his new Manifest and go for
a nice relaxing ride. He snapped this shot while riding along the river trail. Be sure to stop by Lockedcog to see more pictures of his Manifest.
Kris has gotten some pretty impressive riders to be featured on his
3:30 edits, but this week he got a little selfish and stole the spot all for himself. All kidding aside, Kris has a pretty unique riding style and always seems to find clean and creative lines in the most unlikely places. He deserves to show off his skills which is exactly what he did here. Go check it out.
